green marketing strategies

In spring of 2008, I was tapped by The Ritz-Carlton hotel company to help them develop an outreach strategy for their environmentally and socially responsible business practices.

These practices, already branded under their “Community Footprints” initiative, needed a boost to better represent Ritz-Carlton’s green efforts in their online resources.

Working with their Senior Vice President for Corporate Social Responsibility, I helped to create a framework and marketing copy from which The Ritz-Carlton could build effective positioning targeted at eco-sensitive travelers and investors.
